Shenandoah National Park. Stony Man Summit. The view and the air on top makes it all worth it.
You'll have to excuse my pointy knees and my boyfriends white feet, and no we didn't hike up barefoot. We took our shoes off once we got to the top. Kicked back and enjoyed it.
